Young Gospel Ambassadors

Last year at camp we set a simple but meaningful challenge for our young people: take a Bible and give it to a family member, friend, or neighbour who doesn’t yet know God.
Every Bible we made available was taken within minutes.

What happened next reminded us that God often works through the faith of children in powerful ways.

A Girl’s Step of Faith

Not long after camp, we received a message from a parent. Their daughter wanted us to know that she had already given her Bible to someone who needed it. She was excited, intentional, and bold — a beautiful example of a young heart trusting God.

The Young Boy Who Didn’t Give Up

Another child also took the challenge seriously. He offered his Bible to several classmates. Some refused. One even threw the Bible back at him after scribbling on it.

But he didn’t stop.

He kept asking. He kept offering. He kept trusting.

Soon, a girl in his class gratefully accepted a Bible. As he handed it to her, another girl overheard and asked the next day if she could have one too. The boy was able to get another Bible and give it to her.

The second girl’s parent, who had been raised in a different religion, later contacted the boy’s parents to express their appreciation for the Bible being sent home.

What These Children Teach Us

These young people reminded us of something important:

  • Faith can be simple and courageous.
  • The Gospel is powerful when shared with sincerity.
  • God delights in using willing hearts — no matter their age.

In a world filled with pressures and challenges, Christian children and young people across our district are standing up for the Gospel without shame. They are faithfully sowing the seed of God’s Word in classrooms, playgrounds, and homes.

Praise God

  • Praise God for Christian children who live out their faith boldly.
  • Praise God for young people who share His Word with love and persistence.
  • Praise God that His Word never returns empty.

God is good.
And He continues to use the next generation to shine His light.
