The Only Name That Can Save

Child with his hands up at his ears, showing that he is listening

“It is the first time I have heard things like this about God. I did not know them until now.”

A child spoke those words at an outdoor event in Romania. One sentence, but it holds the whole reason this work matters.

Why We Go

Acts 4:12 shapes everything: “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” (KJV). When we love God and love people, we want to bring the gospel to children.

So workers go outdoors with programmes for children. They meet kids in the places where they live, play, and grow. They go door to door with evangelistic booklets, so the message about Christ enters homes and can be read, discussed, and received by whole families.

Children Who Are Listening

The responses tell the story better than we can.

One child we met after a distribution in his village asked for another booklet: “I read the booklet several times. Do you have another one? They are very beautiful. My father also read it when he got home.”

At a summer camp, a teenager said: “I have thought seriously about the Lord Jesus at this camp. I believe I need to make a decision soon regarding my life.” Camps give children and teenagers space to hear, understand, and go deeper into who Jesus is and what God has done through Him.

Training Those Who Teach

The work reaches further than the children in front of us. When we train believers for ministry, we help form people who will present the gospel to children clearly, biblically, and responsibly.

A teacher put it plainly after completing a Teaching Children Effectively course: “I thank God for this training. It opened my eyes to the way I explain things about Him to children.” Some who trained recently went on to youth mission seminars focused on outdoor evangelism.

Every Prayer, Every Gift

The impact isn’t seen only by the worker who goes before the children. The one who prays takes real part in the advance of the gospel — interceding for God to open doors, prepare hearts, and make the Word fruitful. The one who gives carries the Name further, making booklets, programmes, camps, and training possible.

Every prayer, every gift, every camp, and every trained worker can become the means through which God brings before children the only Name that can save. And that impact is eternal.

Keep Praying

The only Name that can save must be proclaimed. Please pray for those recently trained — that all of them will reach many children, proclaiming Jesus clearly wherever God sends them.
