Learning, Sharing, Growing

After several weeks of travel and ministry abroad, I recently returned home with a heart full of gratitude and many lasting memories. The time spent in Central Asia was marked by learning, sharing, and experiencing deep fellowship with others who share a passion for teaching and faith.

For about six weeks, a dedicated group of participants gathered for an intensive training program followed by a regional conference. Since many of us already knew each other from the first part of the training last year, the reunion felt like picking up right where we left off — as if no time had passed at all.

The daily classes were filled with learning and reflection, but some of the richest moments, however, happened outside the classroom. For example, meals, workshops, and cultural evenings allowed us to celebrate the traditions of the participants’ different countries. Sundays were especially meaningful as we visited local communities and joined them in their worship services, often taking part in the gatherings ourselves.

At the end of September, all eleven participants successfully completed their training and received their diplomas. It was inspiring to see their growth and dedication. We pray that each of them will continue to find strength and direction for the work ahead.

The conference that followed brought together people from several nations to reflect on the words of Jesus:

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit.” — John 15:5

Encouraged by the Bible studies, discussions, and time spent together, everyone returned home strengthened for the journey ahead.
