I thank God for the opportunity to get involved in the direct summer ministry.

In June, God helped me to organise a Vacation Bible Club with Lego. Every day, the children listened to the Bible lessons from Esther’s life. One of the children, when asked what he had learned about God during the week, replied: “I have learned that everything God does is for the better.”

Thirty children participated in the activities for 5 days, most of them coming to church for the first time. This number was very encouraging, since only 8 children attended weekly meetings during the year. Let us pray together for knowledge, so that I may know how to develop the ministry among children.

Also in June, I helped organise a day camp attended by 50–60 children daily. There I was mainly involved in the Bible programme.

At the end of July, together with the entire CEF team, we held a stationary camp for 56 teenagers – 10 of them accepted the Lord into their hearts, glory to Him.

Continue to pray for all children who hear the Word of God, that the Lord will change their lives.
