Eighty-six teachers from across the country recently gathered in Moldova for a national conference focused on encouragement, training, and inspiration for their ministry work.
We were honoured to welcome Pastor Serghei, who shared a message from God’s Word. Before speaking, he offered heartfelt reflections on the impact of his church’s ongoing collaboration with CEF:
“It has been a few years now since we began collaborating with CEF. Every time our teachers visit the CEF office to purchase new literature, they return encouraged and full of new ministry ideas.
With their guidance, we started a new ministry for teens—a group too old for children’s programs and too young for the youth group.
I strongly believe that every teacher needs ongoing training. The methods that were effective 20 years ago are no longer useful today. In this area, CEF instructors are a great help to our churches. Last year, they organized the Teaching Children Effectively Level 1 (TCE 1) course for us, helping us learn how to reach more boys and girls.
Thank you, CEF, for everything you do!”
Pastor Serghei’s words reminded everyone of the value of continual growth, learning, and collaboration in ministry. Through initiatives like the Teaching Children Effectively (TCE) courses, teachers gain practical skills and updated methods that resonate with today’s children and teens.
It is inspiring to see how strong partnerships and ongoing training empower teachers to make a lasting impact on the next generation of believers.
