As we enter this special season, we are thankful for the many opportunities God has opened across Europe to share the true meaning of Christmas with children. Through Christmas Party Clubs, puppet shows, gifts, and creative programs, we pray that many young hearts will hear that the greatest gift of all is Jesus Christ.
Here are a few highlights from Italy, Albania, and Serbia and what they are planning:
Italy
This year marks the 5th year that Italy is part of the Christmas Together project. In November, two training workshops were held, led by our CEF workers. We praise God that 25 churches are preparing to host Christmas Party Clubs in their communities!
Please pray for all these events in December, that many children will come and discover the real message of Christmas.
Albania
Across Albania, churches are getting ready to welcome children into Christmas Party Clubs filled with joy, stories, and the Good News. More than 20,000 shoeboxes and evangelistic leaflets have been prepared for distribution. Our hope is that every gift will point to the greatest gift ever given—Jesus Christ and His salvation.
This season offers a unique opportunity to lead children to Christ. Your prayers make a difference.
Serbia
In Serbia, the team is preparing their most challenging puppet show yet: “Christmas Treasure Hunt.” Coordinating rehearsals has been difficult as the team serves voluntarily while balancing other commitments.
Please pray for:
- Strength, unity, and team spirit
- God’s guidance as they seek to visit as many schools as possible
- Open doors to share the Christmas message
- Children’s hearts to be ready to hear and respond
Christmas Clubs All Across Europe
From East to West, we pray that many Christmas Clubs will take place throughout Europe, bringing joy, hope, and the Gospel to thousands of children. Each club—whether small or large—is a chance for a child to hear about Jesus for the very first time.
We deeply appreciate your prayers for all workers, volunteers, churches, and children involved. Pray that each event will be filled with God’s love and that many young lives will be changed forever.
