“Good News Clubs are at the heart of our ministry, and we are grateful for the opportunity to share the Gospel with children in different parts of Albania every week. The impact of God’s Word in these young lives is truly remarkable, and one recent encounter reminded us of the power of transformation through Christ.
One quiet girl had been attending the Good News Club regularly. She often listened intently, rarely speaking up, but on this particular day, a fellow classmate made a comment that caught everyone’s attention. “She behaves badly at school and uses bad language,” the other child said.
At first, she didn’t respond. She looked down, clearly uncomfortable, her expression revealing both shyness and a sense of guilt. That day’s lesson was about “How to Live a Clean Life in a Dirty World,” based on the story of Samuel and the sons of Eli. As we shared about Samuel’s faithfulness in contrast to the sinful ways of Eli’s sons, something stirred in her heart.
After the lesson, she approached one of our trained volunteers. With sincerity in her voice, she said, “I want to change. I want to live a clean life like Samuel did. I feel very sorry for my past behaviour and don’t want to be like the sons of Eli.”
Moments like these remind us that the Word of God is alive and powerful. It reaches into the hearts of children and brings transformation.
We are encouraged by the ways God is working, and we trust Him to continue changing lives—one heart at a time.”
