This Easter, our teens didn’t wait to be asked. They took fifty Easter booklets, walked out onto the street, and started sharing about Jesus with everyone they met.
Sent Out with a Clear Message
Before they went, I explained how to hand out the wonderful good news of Jesus — how to speak clearly and kindly, and how to invite people to come and hear more. Then they went out. They gave away all fifty booklets. They talked about Jesus with strangers, and they invited them to Sunday School.
The very next day, two new girls walked through our doors. Praise the Lord.
A Season Built on “The Greatest Story”
It was part of a wider season built around our Easter lessons, “The Greatest Story.” Training seminars helped teachers prepare a clear Easter message, and the interest was remarkable. We offered the Gospel of John for free, and people kept coming to receive it — not only children, but adults too.
One Boy Who Wanted More
One moment stayed with me. A young boy, ten years old, held his booklets and said: “Thank you for giving me both booklets. I want to study more about Jesus at home. Can you give me something else to read about Jesus and His life?”
That is the whole hope, right there. A child who wants more. Not because he was told to, but because something has taken root.
The Harvest Is Plentiful
Jesus said the harvest is plentiful (Luke 10:2). This Easter we saw it — in teens brave enough to speak, in adults reaching for the Gospel, and in one boy asking for more. Small acts of faithfulness, and God moving through every one.
Please keep praying for these children and for the workers who serve them. The seed is being sown.
