Celebrating 30 Years of God’s Faithfulness

Magdalena recently shared in her prayer letter about her 30 years of ministry with Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) of Romania. From her very first days in 1995 as a literature worker, she faithfully served the Lord. She now continues that service in her dual role with CEF Romania and CEF Europe.

She writes:

“The Lord was pleased to call me to salvation when I was a child. Then I understood, albeit with great difficulty, that He wanted me to attend the first CEF Institute in Romania, in February 1995. Later, having been invited to join the ministry, in October of that same year I began working with AMEC (CEF) as a literature worker…”

Over the years, Magdalena has been involved in translation, editing, and preparing materials that have reached countless children and teachers. Her faithfulness has extended beyond Romania to Moldova, Uganda, Zambia, and across Europe wherever the Lord has opened doors to serve.

In her words:

“I am glad that I am not alone (I couldn’t be), but that throughout all these years I have had prayer partners and supporters in the ministry. So, if you have accompanied me, I THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart! And most of all, I THANK GOD for the calling He has given me, and for the help, health, strength, and wisdom He has given me to serve Him here.”

Together with her husband, Nelu, Magdalena continues to serve faithfully, living out the verse that has guided their family since they were married:

“As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” — Joshua 24:15

As Magdalena reflects on these three decades of ministry, her message remains simple yet profound:

“…that He may be glorified.” — Isaiah 61:3

We thank God for Magdalena’s steadfast example. We pray that her life and service will continue to inspire others to share the Good News with children, in Romania and beyond.
