Beyond a Birthday

group of children

This summer in Uzbekistan, we held five incredible camps, welcoming a total of 162 children. Of these, 40% were believers, while 60% came from non-believing backgrounds. It fills us with the greatest joy that 20% of those unbelieving children chose to repent and follow Jesus. Praise the Lord!

For the children, these camps were not only fun and full of exciting activities but also deeply meaningful. They learned about the true love of God, and by the end, we witnessed many touching testimonies of how their hearts were changed.

One story in particular stands out. In our last camp, there was a 14-year-old girl who had started working to buy herself a birthday present. When she received the invitation to camp, she hesitated, she really wanted to celebrate her birthday with her friends. But after thinking it over, she decided to join us and later said it was the best decision she could have made.

After her registration, our team learned that her birthday would take place during camp, so we prepared a special surprise celebration for her. She was overjoyed! On that same day, the lesson was on the story of Ruth and her determination to stay with her mother-in-law. Listening to that story, the girl realized she too had made the right choice to come to camp.

For her, it was a wonderful gift to get to know Jesus and experience the true love of God.

Your faithful prayers and support mean so much to our ministry, thank you!
