This summer in Moldova has been a season filled with God’s wonders. With prayer and dedication, our teams set out to reach children and teens across 47 locations, hosting camps, Holiday Bible Clubs, and open-air evangelism. By His grace, more than 4,400 young people heard the Gospel and 152 souls received Christ.
One of the highlights was the first-ever Holiday Bible Club in one region. Lilia, alongside youth and church members, discovered the challenges and deep rewards of ministering to children. A church elder shared, “I never thought such an event could be so impactful… this ministry is worth investing time and energy in because a saved young generation is the future of our church.”
In another region, where there is no evangelical church, God opened new doors. Kids filled the local school, enjoyed meals provided by school staff, and discovered the greatest friend they could ever have—Jesus Christ. One girl joyfully exclaimed, “This was the best week of my summer! I spend my summer with my grandparents, and I’ve heard about the camp from a friend. It is the best summer ever because I met the best leaders, I made new friends, but most importantly, I’ve learned about the best friend I can always have – Jesus Christ.”
Even the residential camp, often considered the hardest to organise, bore fruit. Despite doubts from some about reaching today’s device-driven youth, we witnessed hearts transformed. Testimonies reminded us that every cost, every prayer, and every effort is worth it when a young person meets Christ.
We thank God for our partners in Moldova and abroad who prayed, gave, and encouraged us throughout this summer. Together, we proclaim:
“You are the God who works wonders; You have made known Your might among the peoples.” (Psalm 77:14)
