Unseen Seeds, Eternal Harvests

In the work of ministry, there are moments when God graciously allows His people to witness the quiet yet powerful ways He is moving behind the scenes. A few months ago, at conferences in Romania, workers were deeply encouraged by testimonies that highlighted the enduring impact of the Gospel and the unstoppable love of Christ. These stories not only celebrated God’s faithfulness but also challenged everyone present to continue serving with renewed passion and faith.

Maria’s Story: From Orphanage to Ministry

One testimony came from Maria, a woman who grew up in an orphanage. Thirty years ago, she encountered the Gospel through the ministry of AMEC workers, who regularly visited her orphanage to organise Bible programs. Among the many children who listened to God’s Word, Maria’s heart was touched and transformed by Christ’s love.

Now, decades later, she faithfully serves in her local church alongside her husband and family. With tears of joy, Maria shared how the seed of the Gospel planted in her childhood grew into a lifelong commitment to follow Christ. Her story was a powerful reminder that no ministry effort is wasted, God’s Word accomplishes His purpose in His perfect time.

A Passion Beyond Limitations

Encouragement also came from an unexpected group at another conference: seven hearing-impaired believers who attended with great eagerness. Their enthusiasm for God’s work deeply moved everyone present. To ensure full participation, two young women accompanied them to interpret the entire program.

Witnessing their dedication, many were challenged to reflect: If these believers, despite physical limitations, serve the Lord with such joy and passion, how much more should others be spurred on to give their best in God’s work?

God’s Work Endures

The testimonies of Maria and the hearing-impaired believers serve as vivid reminders that God’s work is never bound by time, circumstance, or human weakness. Seeds of faith planted decades ago continue to bear fruit, and the Spirit of God empowers His people to serve beyond their limitations.

As these stories show, no act of ministry is ever in vain. God is always at work, in His perfect time and in His perfect way.
