Curriculum

“Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed,
rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15

Believing that ministry to children is crucial for world evangelisation, the CMLC:

  • Prepares students to evangelise unreached children with the Word of God, disciple them and establish them in a local Bible-centered church.
  • Equips them to offer practical training for adults desiring to have an impact on future generations through dynamic outreach ministries to children.
  • Helps them to build the managerial and leadership skills needed for developing a children's ministry primarily in Child Evangelism Fellowship, and also in other missionary organisations.

  • Teachers: the classes are taught by spiritual, experienced, enthusiastic Christian workers, who come in from their usual ministry to give from one to three weeks of their time, to help equip the new generation to reach children for Christ. Eight different nationalities are involved! They bring a rich diversity of culture and practical experience to the teaching in the CMLC. Each teacher is dedicated to helping to the maximum all those who are being trained, and is available for consultation outside of class.
  • Student Supervisor and Kilchzimmer House Leaders: these members of staff are here to guide, encourage, and counsel students, to ensure that their time here is profitable for personal spiritual growth, training as children’s workers, and development as future leaders who will train others.
  • House and kitchen staff: these are dedicated Christians who do their work for God’s glory and who make every effort to care lovingly for those who come to stay here.
