Wagner, Sarah (Multimedia)

I (Sarah) feel as though I have always known about Child Evangelism Fellowship®.  My mum was a Good News Club® teacher and my dad was a member of the local CEF® committee.  At home I was taught the Gospel, but it was in Good News Club that I decided to give my life to Jesus.  When I left school I trained as a secretary and worked in the office of a linen factory.  In 1997 I left Northern Ireland and came to work at Kilchzimmer.

I am part of the Multimedia Department which provides Bible lessons, missionary lessons, visualised Bible verses, quiz ideas, etc for use in Good News Club or Sunday school classes.  Some of the

lessons are available with flannelgraph figures, others are flashcard, and a few are now available in PowerPoint.  My role is to do the layout of the lesson texts. (I’m not an artist and I don’t draw any of the pictures!)  These items are later translated into many languages for use across Europe.

Andi is Swiss and when we got married (in 2003) I moved to live in the part of Switzerland he had grown up (120 km/75 miles away from Kilchzimmer).  Although Andi does not work with CEF, he does a lot in the background. I now work from home and so he has become both my IT manager and purchasing department - he solves my computer problems and ensures I always have enough supplies of paper, toner for the printer, etc.

For the last 15 years Andi has spent much of his free time driving to countries in Eastern Europe (Romania, Ukraine, Russia, Moldova, Bulgaria and Serbia) to deliver boxes of clothes, toys, books, etc.  When he’s not helping me or driving to Eastern Europe, Andi works as a service technician, installing and repairing equipment in medical laboratories.
