Brooks, Russell & Elizabeth

The work of CEF has grown over the years, to become one of the largest missions in our continent. Last year 606,000 children were taught the Gospel through CEF ministries in 46 European countries. During the past twelve years the number of full-time CEF workers in Europe has increased by 60% and the number of children being reached has more than doubled. The Lord has set before us an open door to take the Gospel to a generation of children. To accomplish this huge task, our resources are often stretched to the limit.
We have identified the following responsibilities, which we can see ourselves fulfilling:
- Evaluating CEF projects in various European countries.
- Helping countries to have accurate and regular financial reports.
- Teaching office procedures/financial reports in Institutes at Kilchzimmer.
- Raising finances for projects.
- Monitoring the implementation of projects.
- Helping with major information technology and computer questions for national offices.
- Helping establish budgets for some countries in Europe.
- Developing a will and estate planning programme to allow people to give to CEF.
It is a big step of faith for my wife and myself to take on this important ministry. Because CEF is a faith mission, each worker looks to the Lord for the needed support. Our work will involve quite a lot of travel, so our monthly budget, including living and work expenses, has been set at £2000. We are praying that some Christians will begin to support us on a regular basis or will make a special gift from time-to-time. If eighty people were to give us about £25 monthly, we can continue to go forward into this ministry. Please pray that this need will be met.
May the Lord richly bless you.
